The simian flu affects humans in various ways but the real deal comes when the virus progresses. It specifically targets the human vocal cords, leaving them unable to speak. Over time the virus also affects higher brain functions leading to a regression in intelligence and behavior. How Did Caesar Die in War Of The Planet Of The Apes ?
Sadly Caesar in not alive anymore, he was shot dead by an unnamed Colonel, who capture Caesar’s tribe for building a wall against U.S army. Army opposes the action of Colonel for being rogue. Throughout the movie “War for the Planet of Apes” Caesar seeks revenge against the Colonel for the crimes he committed against his ape community. In their final confrontation Caesar is critically wounded but he manages to defeat the Colonel and secure the safety of his fellow apes before he dies. Caesar’s death marks the end of his leadership and the beginning of a new era for the ape civilization.
How Many People Died From The Simian Flu ?
It is stated in the movie that 99% of the population is killed by Simian Flu. Only a handful number of people 1 out of 500 are able to survive. The virus almost affected everyone but those 1% with strong immunity survived and rest all others died. On the other hand the same virus affected the apes in positive way by enhancing their power of brain and making them able to speak. They begin to form their own societies as well. Apes start to evolve and humans start to become primite, people with strong immunities survived and weakers one get killed because of virus.
